Lorraine Reed published her first book, ‘Times Tables Fun With Naughty Katie’ in 2016.
Shortly after its publication, Lorraine created an online Facebook group inviting Writers and Authors to join.
Lorraine’s online writers circle “WRITERS IN THE WOOD” has been supported by local people since its creation. We have been supported and encouraged by many members of our local community. The Mayor of Hertfordshire, Mayor of Borehamwood, local county Councillors, Borehamwood museum, Borehamwood cinema, Tesco, Wickes, Morrisons and local senior citizen care homes have been a great support to Writers In The Wood members. Some have invited us to hold book signing events, at which we have raised money for a variety of charities including NSPCC, breast cancer awareness and others.
